As Anke Woehrer says, the idea of making a career in sports has been with her ever since kindergarten, yet that was just the beginning. The trouble was choosing which sports, but fortunately, her older brother gave her a little bit of help!
WHEN DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A SPORTS CAREER?
Some people take their time to choose a career for their future, and rightly so as there is a distinct possibility to be miserable for the next 30-40 years doing something you do not enjoy. An athlete does not have too much time to decide whether they want to become a professional athlete or not. Anke’s choice of career was determined by various factors.

It’s not unusual for a child to copy the habits of the family members, especially if they have siblings. Anke Woehrer is no exception to that rule either.
